Every letter of consent made in ConsentX is a signed declaration, made under penalty of perjury, that its signatory is the child's legal guardian and that everything in it is true. Border, airline and law-enforcement officials rely on it.
By signing in you confirm that you are that guardian, or act with their authority, that every detail you enter is accurate and complete, and that you will not create a letter you know to be false or misleading. Knowingly making a false declaration may be perjury and may be prosecuted.
